Tropical Storm Fay has now dumped more water on Florida than Hurricane Charlie, Hurricane Frances and Hurricane Jeanne combined. Those three storms dominated the peninsula of Florida over a six week stretch in 2004. Charlie blew by in about four hours but the other two hurricanes were over the middle of the state for two to four days a piece. The wind and tidal surge of Fay hasn't been as bad as a hurricane, but the rains have been epic. Parts of Brevard Country have received over 26 inches of rain since Tuesday and the rain still hasn't stopped. (FYI for non-Floridians: Brevard County includes Melbourne, Cocoa Beach and the Kennedy Space Center.)
